The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent research, writing, and communication skills, and experience in deposition-taking, brief writing, and oral motion practice before the courts. Additional experience in trademark and/or copyright litigation is advantageous. Bar admission is required. Duties:Handle patent litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Take and defend depositions.Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.Engage in oral motion practice before the courts.Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communications.Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.Manage case deadlines and document production. Requirements:3-6 years of experience in patent litigation.Background in electrical or mechanical engineering (BSEE/BSME preferred).Experience with trademark and/or copyright litigation is a plus.Strong academic background from a reputable law school.Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred. Certifications:Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills:Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
