The ideal candidate will possess at least 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution and must be an active member in good standing of the Patent Bar.Duties:Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, with a primary focus on patent prosecution.Draft and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Conduct patentability searches and analyses.Assist clients in developing patent strategies and portfolios.Conduct intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactions.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in North Carolina or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.Active membership in good standing with the Patent Bar.Minimum of 3+ years of experience practicing patent law, with a focus on patent prosecution.Strong understanding of patent laws, regulations, and procedures.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in good standing of the Patent Bar.Skills:Proficiency in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Ability to conduct patentability searches and analysis.Strong understanding of intellectual property law, particularly patent law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
