Part-Time Real Estate Bookkeeper

IN-OFFICE POSITION ONLY - NO REMOTE POSITIONS AVAILABLE; APPROXIMATELY 5 HOURS A WEEK. We’re hiring a detail-oriented accountant to join our expanding real estate team! You’ll reconcile accounts, keep track of accounts payable and receivable, and organize all our financial records. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating order out of chaos and wants to see the impact their job makes on a daily basis. Responsibilities: • Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings• Manage all business account reconciliation to ensure every transaction is accounted for • Handle all accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis to make sure each invoice and expense report is accurate• Input records into the computer to make sure financial data is filed accurately• Produce regular journal entries to post to the general ledger Qualifications: • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software • Experience in real estate industry preferred• Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must• High school diploma required, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is highly valued• Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly About Company: We are a small team within a larger corporation. Our focus is on giving personalized, stellar customer service. It is a fast-paced office, with high productivity. We all work well together and strive to ensure a great work environment. We are located in beautiful Liberty Station. 1- Day a week (Monday -Friday, you may choose the day)
