Pack Pet Resort in Indian Trail, NC is looking for dog care staff members to join our strong and motivated team. Our ideal candidate is articulate, compassionate, and dedicated. We are looking for new Front Desk Associates ! Front Desk Associates are responsible for safely checking dogs in and out of our care while providing exceptional customer service. The starting pay is $13 per hour for this position. About Pack Pet Resort: We are a dog boarding/daycare facility equipped with a grooming salon and training room. We house 91 suites, 3 large astro-turf play yards, and a spacious indoor playroom. Choosing a pet care provider should be taken as seriously as choosing a childcare provider. That is why at Pack Pet Resort we offer thorough training and education to our staff members and always prioritize the safety of the animals in our care. We offer many opportunities for growth, continued paid education / certifications, cross training, and advancement within the company! Responsibilities Customer service functions, including greeting visitors, answering telephones and checking in pets for their overnight stays. Scheduling and confirming appointments / reservations. Checking pets out, including processing payments. Recommending services such as grooming, baths, enrichments, cookies, etc. Answering questions regarding services and operations around daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and our facility features. Giving informative tours of our facility to prospective clients. Managing vaccine records, pet profiles, reports, and correspondence. Facility maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that the lobby is neat and clean at all times. Managing the lodging calendar and ensuring accuracy within bookings. Handling animals in a safe and positive manner. Qualifications *1 year of customer service experience is not required but is preferred. *Previous receptionist experience is not required, but an added bonus! *Some knowledge of pets/animals. Must be 18 years or older with weekday and weekend availability (AM shift is 6:30am to 2:30 pm and PM shift is 11:30am to 7:30pm; weekend shifts vary) Benefits: Free Daycare/Boarding services Quarterly tip-based bonus We are looking forward to hearing from you!
