What Youll Do The Occupational Health Nurse will schedule and review occupational health tests, vaccinations, and results for both pre-employment candidates and current employees. In collaboration with the Talent and Clinical Services teams, this role is responsible for communicating and auditing results in a timely manner, tracking all current open tests, following all laws regarding privacy, and following all policies and procedures implemented by Rendevor Dialysis. This is a part-time, remote role (up to 20 hours/week). Schedule is flexible, but must be within normal business hours, 9am-5pm central Monday-Friday. Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: * Associates Degree required from an accredited nursing school; Bachelors Degree preferred * Current State license as a Registered Nurse; compact license preferred * 3-5 years of recent nephrology experience (within past 5 years) * Previous experience in Occupational Health and telehealth Required Skills and Competencies: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, working with both internal and external individuals and entities * Strong technical skills include expertise with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PPT, Word, SharePoint, etc). * Ability to read, write, speak, and understand and clearly communicate in English Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Review all health testing results completed by the Talent and Clinical services teams and communicate all findings to appropriate individuals * Provide abnormal results to the employee when necessary; provide next steps and options based on findings. * Maintain and update employee immunization and testing program guidelines by consistently reviewing immunization guidelines & processes and proactively implementing best practices. * Maintains knowledge of individual facility requirements for employment lab testing and frequency. * Maintain confidential documents of employee health records * Evaluate effectiveness and scope of employee health services in collaboration with the Clinical Services team * Maintains confidentiality at all times * Checks email daily and responds appropriately and timely; uses company-provided email for all work-related email communications * Maintains regular and predictable attendance and punctuality * Adheres to all company policies and procedures * Up to 20% travel expectation; specific to auditing and compliance * Performs other duties as required and/or assigned Supervision: This position will report directly to Vice President, Clinical Quality and Compliance Work Environment: This job operates in a remote, home office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, and photocopiers/scanners. May be asked to visit dialysis units in hospitals, correctional facilities, or post-acute therapy settings. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to push, pull or lift supplies and products up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
