We are looking for someone to cook and clean for us on a part-time schedule. A description of the job requirements is below. COOKING * Cooking is an important part of this job. Experience required. * Prepare 1 kid-friendly meal and 1 meal for 2 adults each day, 5 times per week. Prepare something to take for lunches the next day. * Prepare snacks, appetizers, and beverages for the home * Responsible for grocery shopping for these meals only * Examples of meals: meat and 3, pasta, chicken, salads with homemade dressing, spaghetti, roasts, stir fry, sandwiches, fish, lasagna, steak and potatoes, tacos, etc. Bonus for experience with specialty foods, such as Chinese, Thai, South American, Mexican, Japanese, Indian, etc. * We prefer homemade food, moderately healthy, made with fresh ingredients, nice cuts of meat, and fresh herbs and vegetables. HOUSEWORK * Daily cleaning and up-keep of 4500 sq/ft house, occupied by 2 adults, one toddler, one cat, and one dog * Duties include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, bathrooms, kitchen, dishes, straightening, minimal laundry (bedding only) * Occasional miscellaneous errand by request such as post office, Wal-Mart, etc. HOURS AND PAY * Offering $850 per month, at $42.50 per day * M-F, no more than 3 hours per day, anywhere from 2-6 pm. * Regular communication by email is required This is a non-smoking home. Location is close to Wilson Elementary School. Long term position and we would like applicants to consider at least a 6 month commitment though this will not be a contractual requirement.
