Summary Young Mind Center is an inclusive preschool program serving children with and without autism. YMCC brings together the best of two worlds: clinical expertise in autism and excellence in early childhood education to provide a comprehensive, transdisciplinary approach that delivers the best possible outcomes. Paraprofessionals (Registered Behavior Technicians, RBT) directly implement evidence-based intervention for children with autism, ages 18 months to 5 years, under the direction and supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Time for professional development, meetings, and session preparation/reflection are scheduled into your work week (15% of your week). We want you to have time for hobbies, relationships, and other endeavors outside of work. We don't work on the weekends, past 5p, and give our team 30 paid days off each year. Duties Directly implement evidence-based intervention for children with autism in our center in both clinic and classroom settings. Identify and capture naturally occurring learning opportunities throughout the day. Collect and graph data related to skill acquisition targets and maladaptive behaviors. Utilize positive reinforcement and antecedent modifications to increase appropriate behaviors. Utilize positive behavior support strategies when unwanted behaviors arise. Individualize instruction to accommodate a variety of learning styles. Provide timely written documentation. Communicate effectively and collaborate with all team members. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or working towards one) 6 months of experience working with children Working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays Dependable attendance (absolute requirement) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential (earned during training if you do not currently hold) AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can assist) Proof of vaccination against Covid-19 Benefits 30 paid days off each year (that's worth about $5,500) Excellent health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401K Supervised experience for BCBA candidates Regular professional development opportunities Regular company-sponsored social events
