Paralegal - Probate & Trust Administration Borchers Cusano Trust Law, P.C. is seeking a full-time Probate & Trust Administration Paralegal to work with our innovative, forward-thinking team in our Medfield, MA office. Responsibilities: Draft, read, and interpret legal documents, including trustee appointments and resignations and trust amendments Prepare probate inventories, court filings and probate accountings Produce summaries and accountings for trust beneficiaries Input information for fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), gift tax returns (Form 709) and estate tax returns (Form 706) Communicate with trust and estate beneficiaries regarding distributions Attend trust beneficiary meetings Assist in retitling assets, identifying provisions, and executing principal payments General administrative duties as needed Requirements: 3+ years of probate and trust administration experience in a law firm In-depth understanding and appreciation of the trust and estate administration process from start to finish Proficiency with cloud-based applications such as Office, WealthDocx, CRM software (Clio) and tax preparation software Highly organized, adaptable, focused, and able to handle multiple tasks and cases simultaneously Able to work independently, under pressure, with minimal supervision Excellent references required Massachusetts Notary Public a plus DISC Profile preferred Firm Culture: BCTL is a full-service trust and estate planning law practice serving individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates.
