Operation of the paint process and conveyor Preventive maintenance activities Testing process chemistry and finishes making adjustments as required Provide back up coverage for process production personell Perform 6s requirements Possess all the skill sets of the Operator position. Demonstrate the ability to manage the entire pretreat E-Coat process along with all of it’s sub systems including the required equipment maintenance. Ensure E-Coat colors are maintained to spec through the submission of color panels. Maintain adequate product inventory as well as maintenance materials. Ensure all waste material is disposed of in a timely manner according to all regulations. Schedule contractors and employees to accomplish tasks such as oven cleaning, acid clean outs, tank changes and tank cleanings. Direct operators in the required areas of operations and maintenance activities. Contact and work with vendor service personnel to resolve any problems with the systems. Other duties as assigned.
