The Digital Workspace Packaging Engineer provides specialized organizational and IT services in application lifecycle management, application packaging, application rationalization, and Workspace One application packaging. They will coordinate with vendor application packagers and project managers to ensure business critical applications are packaged in a timely fashion and provide technical expertise in remediating packaging issues. The packaging engineer will manage the application backlog and provide assistance in packaging high complexity applications. The packaging engineer will be responsible for the packaging process flow, solutioning for existing and future applications, and identifying areas of workflow and automation improvement. Working with the persistent team and the Product Owner, they will track application packaging throughput and will assist in scope management for the workstream, as well assist in the creation of the formal process for scope changes as they relate to application packaging. Accountability: Shapes and maintains application packaging process and mutually agreed to app lifecycle. All changes must be approved by key stakeholders and/or relevant department heads, and the product owner or a delegate. Responsible for coordinating between project leadership, key stakeholders, mobile team members, workstream product owners, and vendor counterparts as they relate to sourcing necessary resources, setting expectations, and tracking to agreed-upon to KPI's Sets and maintains application packaging rate as well as packaging process-flow playbook Mitigates risk by forecasting progress and predicting key issues through research and solution vetting Leads client decision-making on application lifecycle management, application rationalization, and industry best practices Provides a variety of project management and consulting services in areas such as data analysis, technical knowledge, resource management, and research as they relate to the application catalog (Workspace One) and the application packaging process Works constructively with other work streams and vendors to ensure expectations are clearly understood and other trained on process/procedure changes and reasoning, and all application needs are met Key Actions: Participates in weekly Digital Workspace status meetings with vendors and project team Assists in monthly leadership meetings to communicate status, blockers, and updates Guides app stream review, planning, and identification of gaps and potential technology investments at the workstream level Gathers feedback and technical insights to iteratively improve current processes Advocates for necessary resources for workstream as well as manages high level risks Guides client decision-making with Product Owner on proposed solution and solution changes Guides changes in formal procedure for application packaging and app catalog offerings Works with client in the adoption and understanding of project solutions and procedural/process changes Identifies key opportunities for automation, artificial intelligence, and technology improvements Relevant Experience: Project management Change management Risk management Vendor management Agile methodology Hardware deployment strategy Data analysis Process optimization Stakeholder communication Workspace One App Catalog Workspace One Unified Endpoint Management Application Packaging .NET Application Cyber Security Review As an equal opportunity employer, Cayuse Commercial Services is committed to a diverse workforce.
