We have an immediate need for an Packager at our Novi facility located approximately 2 miles off of I-275 just off 9 Mile between Novi and Meadowbrook. Packager Belanger, Inc. is part of OPW VWS, a leader in the Vehicle Wash Manufacturing industry. We have openings in on our Packaging teams at our Novi facility. This is not a position picking/packing in a large warehouse. This position is part of a small team that packages entire car wash systems and components that we manufacture to be shipped to new sites. You will work in an environment that feels like a small business with the backing of a large fortune 500 corporation. This is a first shift position, M-F with daily OT and Saturdays as needed to meet customer demands. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow Bills of Materials to pull, package/wrap, palletize customer orders Use various measurement and hand tools Assemble wood pallets Operate industrial saw to cut wood for creating pallets Follow all company rules and policies Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Degree or Equivalent required Experience in manufacturing or warehousing environment preferred Ability to read and comprehend instructions, manuals, and memos Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work overtime as needed Desired Characteristics: Forklift experience Experience working with tools and measuring equipment For over 125 years, OPW has led the way in designing and manufacturing world-class retail fueling, fluid handling and car wash system solutions for the safe and efficient handling and distribution of fuels and critical fluids.
