WILSON CREEK SCHOOL DISTRICT P-12 SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER/DIRECTOR OPENS: Wednesday, April 9, 2024CLOSES: Open until filled Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate required; a special education endorsement is preferred Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in State Testing options in the area of Special Education standards and Washington State Learning Standards Ability to constantly monitor the safety and well-being of students, particularly when a student is participating in an inclusive activity Ability to motivate students Ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment Ability to perform general clerical duties Ability to maintain order and discipline in a classroom Ability to operate common office machines Ability to maintain basic files and records Ability to understand Duties and Responsibilities: Follows oral and written instructions Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work assignments Additional Job Functions: Performs other related work as required Possibility of Director Duties Salary: Wilson Creek School District follows the WCEA salary schedule. 2023-2024 Salary Schedule starts at $48,415.00 to $91,254.00, dependent on experience and education. The Wilson Creek Education Association Contract provides a $1,500 sign-on bonus to new teachers payable the first month following your hire. There is also a good possibility that the Wilson Creek School District may be transitioning to the (4) day school week model starting as soon as the 2024-2025 school year.
