Artesia Christian Home needs PT Medication Assistant for the 11-7 shift (10:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.). We are looking for someone who has Friday, Monday and some weekend availability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform basic resident care skills, such as assisting with dressing and undressing or other ADLs as necessary, serving food trays to ill residents, taking and recording vital signs, responding to resident call lights, bathing and/or shower assistance when needed, assisting with safe resident transfersDistribute medications according to doctor's orders and following all procedures and regulations as trainedObserve and report changes in resident's conditions to Wellness CoordinatorFollow all procedures and regulationsHigh school diploma and previous work with elderly are desirable. Applicants must have physical strength and endurance, communicate in English, and the ability to establish effective relationships with residents and fellow workers.
