Job Summary Our Outside Sales Estimator (or "Sod Solutions Expert" as we like to call it) is responsible for providing lawn consultations to prospective customers. This process involves discovering and addressing prospective customers concerns and providing solutions within the scope of work offered by Peak Sodding.This position WILL involve prospecting. As a business with fluctuating seasons, creative methods and a positive mentality can make or break success in this position. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain a diligent schedule for appointments and prospecting Consult with prospective clients to find the best solutions for their lawn Create job estimates and present to customers Prospect and use creative methods to create more customer opportunities Utilize phone and company software to properly track progress, schedule and projects Prepare proper guidelines with accurate estimation for sold projects Meet & exceed sales expectations Must be willing to align and operate within our core values Peak Sodding Core Values Take Ownership No Half Measures Work In Excellence Integrity In All Things Communicate Well, Communicate Often Continuous Improvement Qualifications and Skills Valid Driver's License in the State of North Carolina Clean driving record At least 1 year minimum experience in sales/customer service role Attention to detail An adaptive, quick learning mentality Must have basic computer and smartphone skills Knowledge of turf and a self sufficient attitude are top considerations Benefits and Perks Peak Sodding is a growing company and there will be opportunity to advance in both pay and position as our company continues to scale.
