Tri-County Special Utility District, Marlin Texas is seeking to hire an Outside Plant Superintendent.General Description:Under the direction and advice of the Board of Directors, manage the administrative operation and general operation of water system involving planning, coordinating, and implementing programs, regulations, policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal mandates. Work requires contact with the public. Duties:1. Supervises field employees, direct and monitor their work and performances, and schedules preventive and regular maintenance work, repairs on water lines, plants, and equipment and property of water district.2. Oversees water plants, wells, monitors systems performance, and monitors SCADA system daily. 3. Coordinates and oversees functional operations including outside personnel and public relations in compliance with TCEQ/EPA rules and regulations, daily record keeping of operations.4. Must have Groundwater "C" license and/or surface water license.5. Assists the Board of Directors in developing and implementing long term and strategic plans and distribution system.6. Performs any job related to managing a water system.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Individual must have at least five years of experience working in a water system, and responsible experience in supervisory or management positions. Individual must be able to resolve problems with administration and systems when they occur and be on call seven days a week or schedule outside operations tech to on-call duty.
