Job SummaryPart:Time Organist/Choir Director:St.Monica Catholic Church Job Responsibilities:Prepare and lead music and worship at designated weekend and holy day liturgies on a regular basis.:Accompany and lead weekly rehearsals of choirs (Adult, children, cantors as needed).:Willingness to work with people to train for participation as cantors, and choir members:Provide additional services when necessary for Holy Week, Christmas, Sacraments, Funerals, Weddings, etc.:Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Requirement Job Requirements:Active Member Of A Catholic Faith Community:Degree In Music Or Equivalent Experience:Required: Superior Piano, Organ, Choral, And Vocal Skills. Guitar Skills Optional.:Experience And Expertise With Different Styles Of Music: Traditional Catholic Music And Contemporary Catholic/Christian Music Relationship Requirements :Willingness To Work With Pastor And Other Music Ministers Collaboratively To Foster The Uniquevision Of The Parish:Great Communication, Time Management, And Interpersonal Skills The Archdiocese of St. Louis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
