Join our growing Distribution team today!!Why work at UNFI?Shift: 1:15PM start (4x10hrs schedule), Sundays are MANDATORY! 2 days back-to-back off during the week and Saturdays always OFF.Incentive pay earn more money for exceeding productivity goals (130 cases per hour quota goal.) Incentives start at $.25 all the way up $7.50 per hour!Medical, dental and vision benefits after 30 days of employmentEven more perks: Union benefits, tuition reimbursement, 25% discounts on wholesale purchases and access to shop at our associate Co-Op storeEssential Functions and Basic Duties:Operates a double pallet jack throughout the warehouse.Selects cases and applies pick labels.Obtains work assignments.Works in a fast distribution center environmentStacks cases onto pallets.Inspects equipment and fills out inspection checklist.Cleans work area.QUALIFICATIONS: Experience Required:Minimum one year warehouse experience required.Experience with rider pallet jack, electric pallet jack or similarSkills/Abilities:Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 poundsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
