JOB DUTIES: : Heavy equipment operation including but not limited to BOBCAT Tracked Dozer, John Deere 550 Dozer, SWECO, etc.: Operation of small and large farm tractors with grader and other attachments, etc. : Operation of state vehicles, trucks, OHV's, ATV's, MERV, etc.: Must complete ATV Rider Safety Course within 6 months of appointment: Must maintain a valid Florida Driver's License. : Operation of chainsaws with proper training/certification within 6 months of appointment: Maintenance of all assigned equipment: Maintenance of shop and tools to maintain assigned equipment: Assists other employees as needed with restroom cleaning/maintenance/stocking, gatehouse assistance, etc.: Other duties as assigned The Benefits of Working for the State of Florida Working for the State of Florida as an OPS employee is more than just a paycheck. : Participation in state group insurance (must meet eligibility requirements*);: Participation in the Florida Deferred Compensation Plan (457b).
