Requisition No:826116 Agency: Department of Health Working Title: OPS GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CONSULTANT II : Pay Plan: Temp Position Number: Salary: 30.00 per hour Posting Closing Date: 04/10/2024 Total Compensation EstimatorTool Open Competitive Opportunity Specific Responsibilities: : Research funding opportunities that align with the organizations mission and programs. : Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other materials to secure funding : Data collection and analysis : Develop accurate and realistic budget proposals in collaboration with finance and Accounting : Conduct needs assessments : Prepareand present written reports :: Independently plan, manage and organize work assigments and special projects : Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man:made or natural. : Performs other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: : Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, outlook, and databases. : Ability to create, compose, proofread, and edit written materials. : Ability to plan and organize work assignments and multi:task. : Proficient in writing compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry and other materials to secure funding. : Ability to collaborate with programmatic staff to gather and analyze data and write reports. Qualifications: : Associates degree from an accredited college with a major in business, finance, communications or comparable program with 3:5 years' professional experience, or: Preferred : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business, finance, communications,or comparable with 5+ years of professional experience.
