Vert Environmental at Fullerton is growing and in need of an Operations Manager! This opportunity plays an integral role in our company with lots of room to grow professionally, financially, and personally! Our Operations Manager works closely with all the teams, Project Coordinators, Report Writers, and Field Technicians. In this position, you will be communicating with the Project Coordinators, clients, and technicians to identify client needs and coordinate testing. Team communication experience is also important for this job. Project Coordinators have the first interaction with clients in immediate need of our service so it's essential to ensure a smooth line of communication. You will also report to our General Manager. Benefits: • Medical• Dental• Vision• Paid Vacation/Sick Time• 401k• Various discounts on travel/entertainment/wellness/gym membership, etc. Responsibilities:• Manage all aspects and employees of the company’s Project Coordinating, Report Writers, and Field Tech Departments• Cross-training of employees to facilitate functional redundancies across project duties and responsibilities• Develop and oversee the division of labor within the Project Coordinating Department and Field Tech Department• Direct and manage employee’s schedules, duties, and roles and maintain a highly functioning office on a Monday-Saturday schedule• Direct and manage a fast-paced office, explain tasks, and provide direction on projects• Schedule projects, coordinate technicians, provide client updates and results, and ensure projects are completed• Write and format lab reports, preparation of all reporting tables, and train other team members in the company reporting system and production of company deliverables• Continue to manage the development of Vert systems processing software Qualifications:• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint• Become proficient in company databases, project management systems, and third-party software applications• Excellent verbal and communication skills• Strong multi-tasking skills• Capable of training, reviewing, and critiquing deliverables (reports, emails, invoices, etc.)• Ability to direct and manage a fast-paced office, explain tasks, and provide direction on projects• Capable of directing various departments and prioritizing daily needs and projects• Detail-oriented and fast typing skills• B.A. or B.S from 4-year University preferred• Minimum of 2 years experience working with system operations• Understanding of software applications and API communication Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 DOE About Company: VERT Environmental @ Fullerton is a full-service environmental testing and consulting company servicing Southern California.
