WEST NORFOLK AND BOROUGH OF KING’S LYNN COUNCILOperations Manager (Resort Services)Starting salary between £32,220 and £39,093 per annum Based at the Hunstanton Resort, Norfolk. If you have experience of effectively managing and motivating teams over different locations, can identify priorities and to handle day-to-day issues with effective communications skills and an appreciation of customer care, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team. We need you to join us to manage the operations of our Hunstanton Resort, and the on and off-street parking for the Borough Council and partner Authorities. Your responsibilities include; effective budget and resort and car park staff management, taking account of staff in various locations and of seasonal employees during the year; manage the Hunstanton, Heacham and Resort areas promoting a positive image and experience for all visitors; day to day operations of car parking and cash handling for North Norfolk District Council and lead on organising Council events and assist with partners wishing to hold events in Hunstanton. Qualified to NVQ3 (or equivalent) in Management, you will have knowledge of marking and promotions and of the importance and Health and Safety Procedures. You will also have knowledge of incident management and be qualified to current First Aid at Work, including the use of defibrillators, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety Qualification and SIA Cash & Valuables in Transit Qualification. You must have a current full driving licence to be able to use Council vehicles for this post. This appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced criminal record check through.
