A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN OPERATIONS MANAGER-BRANCH To produce and manage (to standard) all projects (DR or GC) assigned to them. To ensure client satisfaction while producing work safely, on time, and within budget. RESPONSIBILITIES The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising projects from early development through completion within a Branch Office. They will solicit input and provide updates from concept through completion with both internal and external parties. They will be responsible for leading, motivating, and directing team members to achieve the goals for a project safely, on time, and under budget. They will be responsible for developing and utilizing resources that meet and exceed our company standards for quality, integrity, and timeliness. Below are key tasks associated with the position: DUTIES Daily operations, documentation, and communication Quality Control Assurance Team Management and Planning Sales Coordination with Project Director - pursuant to active projects Project Financial Reporting- specific to individual projects under his/her management Collections Support- specific to his/her projects and in concert with PD Risk Analysis - Identifying and preventing risks related to job production Budgeting (cost and offering) Team Growth and Development Asset Management Management of assigned projects Management of their assigned team Project financial reporting - Contract amount, estimate budgeting, cost budgeting, WIP, Change Orders Company standards - installation practice, safety, code, industry knowledge, scheduling, quality of work Physical presence within the branch - travel to job sites and meeting with Jobsite team Unquestionable ethics and background QUALIFICATIONS: Computer literate: Microsoft products Industry knowledge Concept of Margin analysis and reporting "Get it done" attitude. Available at all hours of the day to respond to the Teams' needs Clear communicator College Graduate + 5 years experience preferred or 10 years of industry experience Industry experience is required Crisis management skills. Conflict resolution abilities. SPECIAL POSITIONS REQUIREMENTS: The position is NOT 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday. We operate in Emergency Services Travel will be required. Likely requirement of extended travel during certain times of the year May encounter hazardous job site conditions of all kinds.
