Job Title: Operational Support Assistant Hours: 37 Type: Temporary Ongoing Location: Eastleigh, SO50 Start Date: ASAP Work Pattern: Monday – Friday 09:00 - 17:00 As an Operational Support Assistant, your primary responsibility is to deliver an exceptional service to internal and external customers, providing central services within Customer Contact Job Title: Operational Support Assistant Hours: 37 Type: Temporary Ongoing Location: Eastleigh, SO50 Start Date: ASAP Work Pattern: Monday – Friday 09:00 - 17:00 As an Operational Support Assistant, your primary responsibility is to deliver an exceptional service to internal and external customers, providing central services within Customer Contact and extensive administrative support across the organization. Joining a customer-focused operational team, you'll handle high-volume back-office processing tasks, including Direct Debit administration, customer mail merges, reception services, and inbound/outbound post services. Your role is crucial in supporting the functions of Customer Contact and the broader business. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Action and maintain customer Direct Debits, including monitoring changes in Housing Benefits, calculating service charge amendments, and handling day-to-day processing and amendments. Support year-end processes for all Direct Debits, notifying customers accordingly and assisting colleagues with Direct Debit queries through calls. Monitor team work queues and mailboxes, addressing requests within required SLAs, such as requesting Energy Performance Certificates EPCs, actioning boundary and fence requests, and liaising with other teams. Maintain accurate records in the internal Housing system, incorporating information from customers, suppliers, local authorities, and other business areas. Produce reports on Housing benefits changes, updating records, and issuing Housing Benefit letters from templates. Process all incoming and outgoing post, ensuring accurate.
