We are currently looking for an Open Source Software Developer to work remotely for my Cambridge based client. You will be joining a company working on innovative, open source solutions for the commercial market, alongside some of the best in the industry. You will be: : Engaging with clients at conferences to promote leadership in the Open Source area. : Analysing client issues and offering technical solutions : Gaining an understanding of client needs and reconciling this with time constaints, available technologies and resources. Desired Skills: : Extensive experience in C++, Python, Java or C : A degree in Engineering (or similar) : Experience with direct development on one (or more) of Web Kit, Blink, GStreamer, FFMPEG, libav, X11, wayland/weston, Jenkins, OBS, lava, Linux kernel/device drivers, distribution integration, porting Salary: up to 75,000 per year Fully Remote.
