We are a small 27 year old, woman-owned business located in a small, high-end retail community.As manager, you will assist the designer and maker. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a small team of employees and a dog. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask in a sometimes fast-paced environment. We have a family-like work environment.Duties:- Oversee the retail jewelry shop, opening and closing daily.- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the business, including staff, operations, and customer service- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation- Collaborate with the designer to ensure sufficient inventory and quality control- Coordinate pricing, quotes and all customer services needs- Maintain a clean and organized work environment- Merchandise and organize shop daily for flow- Host customers and share the creation of handmade jewelry and power of gemstones- Provide excellent customer service- Website updating, photography and mailchimp email creationSkills:- Strong knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures- Proven experience in supervising and managing a team- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities- Knowledge of studio and office operations- Exceptional customer service skills- Proficient in gemstone knowledge and jewelry management principles- Ability to work well as a team and strive for monthly goals- Strong problem-solving skills and understands loving communicationIf you are a dedicated professional with a passion for the jewelry and gemstones, we invite you to apply for the manager position.
