As an Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. Some evening and weekend work required. What you'll be doing: backss, plan, develop, coordinate, evaluate and deliver treatment using both individual and group interventions utilizing the Canadian Model of Client-Centered Enablement (CMCE) Conduct comprehensive client interviews and standardized and non-standardized backssments within the OT theory and best practice framework and program clinical models, which may include individual discipline specific, backssment, multidisciplinary backssments, client self backssment, family backssments, integrated reports by other service providers and environmental scans and focus groups Assume responsibility for the treatment, rehabilitation and support of assigned caseload Facilitate group therapy, which may involve leadership or co-leaderships of psychoeducation or skill and activity based groups Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions which may include follow-up from backssment, group interventions, and/or direct assistance with instrumental functioning - activities of daily living, employment, social relations, including teaching, environmental modifications, side-by-side assistance) Facilitate resources for optimally supportive client personal environments including assistance with meeting basic needs, social supports, family relationships, community linkages and assistive devices Identify targeted.
