J800001829Senior Occupational Therapist : Permanent Location: Surrey/ West Susinteraction Hours: Full Time Salary: GBP35360 : GBP40588 per annum Acute Services This hospital is a Hospital, a low and medium secure service for male patients who have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007) and who benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation. They also offer a 28: bed male acute service in a separate purpose built environment. Job Role: Communicating effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, people who access services, carers/supporter/family members, stakeholders and agenciesProviding compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff including support staff and assistantsEnsuring the delivery of occupational therapy student placementsSupporting the completion of appraisals/personal development plans with junior staffTo be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways To Qualify: An Occupational Therapy profession qualificationUK HCPC registrationExtensive and relevant post qualification clinical experience with children and young people who have complex needsExtensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approachesDemonstrates evidence highly effective clinical reasoning skillsHighly specialist knowledge of relevant backssment and treatment models Client Offers: Annual salary of GBP35,360 : GBP40,588The equivalent of 33 days annual leave (inc Bank Holidays) : plus your birthday offFree meals and parkingWellbeing support and activities to help you maintain a great work: life balance.
