Observability R2 ArchitectCognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to create new value, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy. We take an Experience centered approach which uses human insights to take ideas from vision to outcome and building end to end experience led solutions that enables brands to transform their customer and employee experiences using design, marketing, and commerce capabilities.Location: Phoenix, AZ Responsibilities: Works with product owner and developers to groom product backlogProvides guidance on continuous integration and test-driven development practicesHelps drive Agile ceremonies including iteration planning, standups, and retrospectivesDevelops cloud deployment model of applicationAs needed, codes in a developer-pair as part of an Agile product-focused software development teamWorks with clients to understand business case for adopting cloud native approach to developing softwareDevelops technology strategy for engagementFacilitates removal of client technical barriers to engagement successEnsures technical collaboration between pod teams Qualifications: Establish solution and pattern to enable GCP based applications/services/resources for observability (metrics, logs and traces)Experience in open telemetryDeploying/managing and optimizing enterprise level observability platform for Grafana OSS products like Cirtex/Mimir,Loki and TempoDesign and develop standard dashboards for critical metrics for various GCP services using the observability dataResearch and develop new solutions for other oillars of observability (like RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Network monitoring and profiling)Understand existing exporters for implementation/enhance or create custom exporters for pulling metrics from different GCP servicesManaging the technical aspect of the pod and delivering the observability enablement deliverablesStakeholder management and offshore team management Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical/Dental/Vision/Life InsurancePaid holidays plus Paid Time Off401(k) plan and contributionsLong-term/Short-term DisabilityPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
