The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager, Health Services – Home Care, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for professional nursing supervision of the home care nurse and application team members to ensure and improve the standard of client nursing services within the home care program. This is achieved through responsible management of staff and other resources. This position participates as a member of the Home Care Leadership Team, and works in collaboration and partnership with the Managers. The incumbent will exercise the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud. Qualifications: • University degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing along with five years professional nursing experience • Current CRNM registration • Health Services Management course or equivalent • Knowledge of all aspects of home care systems and programs • Knowledge.
