Nurse Practitioner physician job in New York : HEADLINE : Manhattan (very desirable area), New York City : One to two Nurse Practitioners are needed to join the ob/gyn department of a medium-size multi-specialty group. Women's Health Nurse Practitioner would be a big plus. This multi-specialty group currently has four Ob/Gyns, two Physician Assistants and one Nurse Practitioner. This is a 100% outpatient opportunity. Monday to Friday. $ Very competitive starting salary. Fringe benefits. $ Very good earning potential. LOCATION : Manhattan / New York City : The office that the new Nurse Practitioner(s) will be working at is located in a very desirable area of Manhattan . PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY : One to two Nurse Practitioner(s) are needed to join a very successful and busy ob/gyn department of a medium-size multi-specialty group. Candidate's Qualifications: They will consider all Nurse Practitioner candidates who match with one of the following qualifications: Someone who has recently completed her/his Nurse Practitioner training Someone who is still in training Someone who has work experience Someone who wants to change her/his specialty to Ob/Gyn The ideal candidate and a big plus : (1) Is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (2) Has knowledge of ultrasound and performing Ob and Gyn ultrasound in the office (3) Someone who also has some work experience in clinical Ob/Gyn AVAILABILITY : Any time between now and the summer of 2022 Office: The new Nurse Practitioner will work at one of their offices, which is located in a very desirable area of Manhattan . This practice currently has four Ob/Gyn physicians, two Physician Assistant and one Nurse Practitioner. This is a 100% Outpatient opportunity. There is no on call and no OB deliveries. Established 17 years ago, this excellent Nurse Practitioner/WHNP opportunity is due to increased growth and expansion. Job responsibilities and duties: The new Nurse Practitioner will be required to provide prenatal care up to the point of delivery, prescribe medication, examine patients, diagnosis illnesses and provide treatment. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday. The hours will be determined and discussed with the candidate. FINANCIAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE : This is an employed opportunity. This practice is offering a very competitive starting salary.
