Cetechs is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Fayetteville, NC. The Nurse Practitioner is a member of our Interdisciplinary Team and responsible for assisting the physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed. Treatment modalities are inclusive of standard medical care that is offered in a safe, effective, efficient, and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will display compassion, education, proficiency and experience while assisting the patient. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing Experience: 2 years (will consider 1 year) Licensure/Certifications: Licensed in the United States (Any state license accepted) Must be a US Citizen; Active DEA Duties & Responsibilities: The Nurse Practitioner will utilize advanced skills in assessment, problem identification and clarification, treatment, planning and implementation of the patient's treatment plan. The Nurse Practitioner will have prescription authority as defined in their scope of practice. Uses sound clinical judgment in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating nursing care Anticipates and recognizes medical/surgical/psychiatric emergencies and initiates or leads others to implement appropriate and timely actions. Uses advanced clinical knowledge/judgment to promote staff involvement in planning, decision-making, and evaluating outcomes. Functions as an expert in clinical practice and/or areas related to the assigned roles and responsibilities. Systematically evaluates current practice and formulates outcomes for groups of patients and/or organizational processes within area of expertise. Uses professional standards of care, scientific evidence, and practice to evaluate programs/service activities. Demonstrates grade-appropriate and consistent critical thinking skills. Practices in accordance with appropriate Scope of Practice.
