Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care physician employment in Texas : Large hospital organization with a location in eastern Texas an hour west of Shreveport, LA is looking for an NP/PA to work in their Cardiac Observation Unit. Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Cardiology specialty similar to a hospitalist role in a hospital Group is expanding the COBS unit to allow 24/7 coverage Will join a team of 2 other NP/PA's currently Prefer Cardiology, Urgent Care, or Hospitalist experience, but don't want to turn away new grads with a passion and flexibility needed No set schedule as of now - must be willing to work days and nights as needed 8 hour shifts rotating 100% hospital based - no clinic Admit patients to COBS unit, consult patients that come from the ER, frequent contact with Hospitalist, etc Competitive salary based on experience, 2% quality bonus, sign on bonus, benefits, and more Ability to pick up shifts for additional pay Please refer to Job ID#4217.
