Job Summary:The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of quality patient care on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit and on the Electro-Convulsive Therapy (ECT) unit. The ability to effectively communicate across interdisciplinary teams, leverage innovative strategies in the pursuit of performance improvement, and to problem solve are key qualities. The manager is responsible for the oversight and reconciliation of the budget for each department, carefully monitoring the use of overtime, materials expenses, and appropriate staffing levels.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's Degree preferred. 5 Years of Healthcare Management experience required; Behavioral Health preferred. Perianesthesia experience required; CPAN or other relevant certification preferred. Experience in ECT preferred. Current licensure in the State of Rhode Island. ACLS Certification Mandatory.
