The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general supervision of, and in collaboration with the Shared Health Manager Health Services Critical Care /site Director Critical Care and the Shared Health Coordinator Critical Care Education, the incumbent is responsible for: Educational program development for: Nursing staff including R. N. s Support staff including U. A. s, N. A. s, U. C. s and/or applicable technicians. Teaching and learning activities. Nursing practice standards. Patient education development. Professional and Self Development. Experience Note : The priority and percentages of each of the above functions will vary throughout the year and possibly from year to year. Must have a minimum of four years recent (within the last 2 years) clinical experience in Critical Care Nursing/Intensive Care required. Recent teaching experience (e. g. facilitating for an educational institution, delivering in-services to inter professionals in a clinical setting, teaching formalized education programs, and/or other similar recognized adult teaching experience) required.
