Position Overview Works in coordination with resident's, families, medical, professional and support staff to achieve quality resident care. Major responsibilities are coordination of resident care, delivery and service to assigned shift. This includes staff replacement, supervision of staff, quality management and education as assigned. Demonstrates a commitment to the vision, values, goals and objectives of the home. Experience Three (3) years current clinical experience in gerontology. Two (2) years current management experience. Combination of education and experience will be considered including recent student practicum. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing or Registered Psychiatric Nursing Education Program (BN is preferred). Certificate in Gerontology an asset. Certification/Licensure/Registration Current registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Manitoba (CRPNM). Valid CPR certificate. Qualifications and Skills Ability to prioritize care for an individual resident to a group of residents.
