Position Overview Under the general supervision of, and in collaboration with the Patient Care Team Manager, the Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is responsible for providing clinical expertise to nurses. The CRN assumes a leadership role in coordinating patient care within the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care outcomes, and promote an interdisciplinary patient centered approach to care based on best practice. Demonstrates a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region/facility/unit. Experience Must have minimum of three years of nursing experience with demonstrated competency in an Urgent Care or Emergency clinical practice setting to include the role of triage and charge. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required. BN preferred. Certification/Licensure/Registration Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM). Active participation in professional associations e. g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. CNA certification in Emergency an asset. Current in BLS and ACLS provider level.
