Position Overview Reporting to the Program Team Manager, PD/RHC and under the clinical direction of the Site Coordinator, Nephrology, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Seven Oaks General Hospital (SOGH), St. Boniface General Hospital (SBGH), and other sites within the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Manitoba Renal Program, the DIALYSIS ACCESS NURSE is responsible for the coordination of care related to dialysis accesses for the renal health patients, the peritoneal dialysis patients and the hemodialysis patients within the SOGH and SBGH Renal Programs. Experience Minimum three (3) years in Nephrology Nursing required. Peritoneal Dialysis Experience preferred. OR Experience preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Baccalaureate of Nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Manitoba Nephrology Nursing course or equivalent required. Certification/Licensure/Registration Current C. R. N. M. registration required. CNA Certification in Nephrology Nursing preferred.
