With plenty of opportunity for growth within the company, you will get to help others lead more fulfilling lives.Wheelchair Transport Driver - Job DescriptionThe purpose of the Wheelchair Transport Driver is to help provide the best ride and service to our customers in order for them to lead a fulfilling life. Seeking drivers specifically for Pinellas county. Full time hours are guaranteed. Overtime available but not guaranteed. Various shifts available. For example, 2-4 days a week, 10-12 hour shifts.Job Responsibilities: Transport clients to and from medical appointments/facilities/hospital via wheelchair or stretcher Frequent push people and equipment of 100+ pounds Safely operate company vans Job Qualifications: Must be a safe driver, with a clean driving record Must be able to speak, write, and comprehend English language One (1) year full-time customer service-oriented experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age Commercial driving experience preferred but not required Drivers license for a minimum of 5 years Must be a friendly, courteous, and compassionate team player with positive attitude, even in high pressure situations Excellent customer service skills Ability to safely lift clients weighing more than 250 pounds with assistance Desire and ability to adhere to Wheelchair Transport Service high standard of customer service Ability to pass level 2 background check through AHCA Licenses and/or Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or obtain prior to hire) All required certifications must remain current and active. Valid Florida driver license with a driving record acceptable to company policy and insurance program requirements.
