NIGHT SHIFT Mechanic – Austin, MN Rotating Shift Schedule : Shift Available: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (C or D) Pay Rate : ($29.79-35.03) Based on Qualifications Sign-on Bonus : $ 1000 after 30 days $ 500 after 6 months $ 500 after 1 year ***Please provide a monitored email address when submitting your application. Communications for this position are sent via email.*** The Job You Will Perform: Perform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level Perform emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations Accurately use measurement and test equipment Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed Maintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork Maintain teamwork with other associates Performing other duties as assigned by supervision Follow all safety rules and practices The Skills You Will Bring: Strong mechanical skills and aptitude Strong troubleshooting skills Written and verbal communication skills Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices Well-rounded electrical, mechanical and machine shop skills and experience The Benefits You Will Enjoy: International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short-term Disability, 401(k) and/or Pension (where applicable), Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets.
