Residential Pest Control Technician: The ideal candidate must be dependable, ethical, and have a desire to succeed. This position requires you to be well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. Providing excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude is a must! Duties include: Provide timely and effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to new service clientele.Time management to arrive on scheduled service times of daily appointments.Install and establishment SMART equipment at initial appointment.Maintain a daily schedule of 6-8 new customer appointments.Calculate basic math problemsEstablish effective working relationships with a variety of customersUse of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documentsProvide customers with general information about our various servicesConduct service calls as neededProblem solving and/or complaint resolutionDrive a company vehicleLong periods of walking, up to 7 miles per day, at times with a (up to) 40 lb pack on your backAt times, may have to enter/work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and atticsBe able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walkingBe able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbsHave excellent listening and communication skillsBe competent with the use of new technologyBe organized and able to manage their own daily routePerforms other duties as assigned Preferred skills and qualifications: • Pest control experience• Customer service experience• Experience working outdoors• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Relationship building skills• Problem solving skills Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
