Description: Perform tasks necessary to support New Model QE activity Responsibilities: Plan and assign New Model QE engineer for new projects Follow up the below New Model QE activity Plan the new gauge spec for new products and order it Prepare gauge instruction, Make Standard Inspection Sheet Train plant inspectors Inspect trial parts and feedback issues to design, engineering and manufacturing and fix them Verify the countermeasure effectiveness Make inspection process Conduct recurrence prevention activity Prepare PPAP documentation and submit to the customer Pre-launch capability study/ Gauge Reproducibility and Repeatability Support pre-launch T2000 activity Plan and conduct the ramp-up activity with plant QA Transfer new model QA activity to plant QA Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline or 4 years Automotive Management Experience Experience: New product quality planning experience preferable Skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Power Point, Microsoft Office Project, Above average communication skills ADVANCED PRODUCT QUALITY PLANNING (APQP) skill Training specific to placement into position Kaizen activity Work Environment: This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical Demands: The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may also be required to work in hot temperatures.
