Job Title: Network Engineer Job Location: Egham, UK Job Type: Contract Role • Support installation/configuration/troubleshooting of Cisco IOS LAN Switches. • Coordinates and/or performs installation, troubleshooting, and repair of voice and data cabling in wiring IDF (intermediate distribution facilities) closets and computer rooms. • Network components, wiring and cabling methods, concepts, various applications and assure local building codes are adhered to. • Thorough understanding of the technical aspects of LAN/WAN hardware and software. • Provide assistance in identifying and documenting processes and procedures. • Assist Network Operations with troubleshooting network connectivity issues. • Proficient in managing multiple networking projects in various areas of the facility. • Act as a focal point for mission critical data centre networking problem resolution for Cisco Equipment, including virtual switches, VLAN, Spanning Tree.
