Job Description :LS Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced network engineer that is highly motivated, energetic, and results oriented to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The successful candidate will support the FAA in designing, architecting and deploying an enterprise secure solution in accordance with FAA and U.S. Federal standards and guidelines. Responsibilities :Network Engineer will be part of the Systems Engineering Team responsible for architecting and building an Enterprise Vendor Management Access Gateway (VMAG) solution to securely manage external contractor connections to FAA environments. Responsibilities of the network engineer will include, but not limited to: Assist with defining technical requirements for the VMAG solution Assist with designing and architecting the VMAG solution Install and configure Cisco firewalls/routers and switches using defense in-depth techniques in accordance with U.S. Federal standards/baselines Configure multiple IPSec VPN tunnels to approved vendor networks Implement an enterprise AAA Identity solution for centralized Authentication and Authorization of network devices Secure network device configurations to comply with FAA and US Federal security guidelines/baselines (e.g., CIS, STIG, etc.) Upgrade configuration of network equipment to support new features and functions Assemble required equipment, cables, adapters, etc. and perform site installation of equipment Contribute to the development of network documentation, including diagrams, standards, specifications and operating procedures Requirements : 15+ years of network engineering experience in designing, building and operating networks in a large production environment. In-depth knowledge and experience configuring virtual networks (setting up virtual switches for VMware, Red Hat) and knowledge of F5 Local Traffic Monitor (LTM) and Global Traffic Monitor appliances. Self-starter with a high level of personal accountability and strong communication skills. Ability to interact, develop, engineer and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with customers, vendors, partners, and all members of staff. Must be able to pass Public Trust Background investigation Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Technical certifications desirable, such as:Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Security and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
