Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure across cloud and data center environments. Your expertise in Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, and Arista technologies will be essential in ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance. Duties and Responsibilities Network Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that align with business requirements. Develop network evolution roadmaps, considering both cloud and data center components. Design network solutions with Firewall and Network components based on target architecture and internal standards. Implementation and Deployment: Configure and deploy network devices (routers, switches, load balancers) in both physical and virtual environments. Implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 functions, including OSPF, BGP, VRRP, QoS, ACLs, NAT, and DNS solutions. Ensure adherence to defined Network Engineering Processes/Procedures. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Bridge the gap between development and operations by advocating for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Collaborate with engineering teams to transform concepts, requirements, and telemetry into services and tools. Security and Compliance: Maintain enterprise network security design standards. Champion best practices within the Cloud network security and broader engineering groups. Engage with the Cloud network security team to address security concerns. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Perform periodic on-call duties to provide application support, incident management, and troubleshooting. Utilize network diagnostic tools for triage and resolution of network issues. Experience, Skills, and Qualifications Bachelor’s or related field experience. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, AWS, ITIL, JNCIE, CISSP, or equivalent. Strong understanding of network protocols (OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, S etc.). Hands-on experience with network devices and routing protocols. Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Ruby, Python). Experience with Firewalls and ACLs (NSX, Cisco, Juniper, PaloAlto, Checkpoint, Fortinet). Knowledge of AAA technologies (Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos). Familiarity with IDS/IPS solutions (Snort/Sourcefire, Tippingpoint). Proven presentation abilities and experience with sales enablement. Outgoing, positive and self-driven work style Working Conditions The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting and may be fully or partially remote. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events. The benefits package offered may differ by location. *Compensation $95,000 - $110,000 The compensation range listed above may include base salary and short and/or long-term incentives.
