Job Title : Network Access Supervisor Department : Cayuga Health Partners Reports To : Network Access Manager Job Summary : The Cayuga Health Network Access Center is a rapidly changing environment working to ease access to healthcare services in our Network through proficient scheduling and referral management. This position will be responsible for supervising the Network Access Team and ensuring the execution of day-to-day operations while meeting organizational customer services goals. The Network Access Supervisor will also be responsible for identifying, organizing, and staffing community events, making sure Cayuga Health is represented and able to schedule and connect patients to Providers in real time at events. The Network Access Supervisor will assist the Network Access Manager with implementing new programmatic activities to eliminate barriers to care and will work with key stakeholders on new projects at the Network Access Manager's direction. This position will supervise the operations of the Network Access team. Operations include, scheduling, verification of benefits, facilitating patient referrals and follow-up visits on behalf of CHP Practices. Responsible for ensuring that the team is fully staffed and that agents are appropriately trained, this includes navigating multiple Electronic Medical Records, phone system, multiple websites, and Microsoft Teams. Job Responsibilities include : Supervises, trains, mentors, monitors, and coaches Call Center Team Members. Supervises Team Leads and provides regular guidance and check-ins. Responsible for directing and implementing a broad range of customer care activities to resolve complex or sensitive customer complaints and difficult telephone calls. Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new employees. Responsible for training schedule, tracking progress, and determining appropriate timing of remote work transition. Responsible for creating and maintaining daily staff schedule and assisting with payroll reporting. Responsible for quality assurance monitoring of employees to ensure high levels of customer service. Responsible for coaching staff on needed improvements and educating as changes arise. Responsible for identifying, organizing, and staffing community events, ensuring Cayuga Health is represented and able to schedule and connect patients to Providers in real time at events. Identify opportunities for departmental improvement and think creatively to develop and implement solutions. Build and support a high performance culture within the Team, focusing on employee training and development, regular and open communication, individual accountability and recognition; including addressing performance issues/trends immediately. Maintain professionalism while answering calls from the community and addressing patient questions. Ability to de-escalate upset patients and justification to properly escalate to Network Access Manager when necessary. Ensure internal process/procedures are client focused and efficient. Assist Network Access Manager to improve processes and procedures as opportunities arise. Supports Call Center Team Members by answering questions, etc. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Requirements : Education - Associates Degree in a related field and 2 years of healthcare, customer service experience. Bachelor's Degree or ability to obtain within one year preferred.Experience - Comfortable multi-tasking.Licensure - None required.Physical Requirements - Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
