The City of Rochester, Minnesota seeks a NERC Compliance Project Manager in Rochester, Minnesota. Work within the Rochester Public Utilities’ (RPU) NERC Compliance program to ensure compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) Reliability Standards, and Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO) electric system operations standards, policies and procedures. This position also provides technical guidance, advice, and support in the development of RPU’s compliance processes and procedures. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.Required Experience: At least 3 years of electrical engineering experience within the electrical utility industry with duties in NERC regulatory compliance, transmission planning or system operations. Relevant electrical engineering experience within the electrical utility industry referenced above includes any of the following types of experience: NERC project management (including projects related to NERC Compliance Standard FAC 008); NERC standard audits process; Collecting data and reports for compliance monitoring and assessment related to the electric industry NERC compliance including projects related to NERC Compliance Standard FAC 008; Assisting in the preparation of self-reports and mitigation plans related to the electric industry NERC compliance including projects related to NERC Compliance Standard FAC 008; Development of system operations processes and procedures for an electric utility; or electrical transmission planning for an electric utility. Electrical transmission planning includes electric transmission engineering. The relevant electrical engineering experience within the electrical utility industry referenced above must include at least one of the experiences listed above or any combination of any of the experience listed to total 3 years of experience.This position is for full-time employment by the City of Rochester, Minnesota for employment in Rochester Minnesota for Employment in Rochester, Minnesota.EOE recblid 9mvqhb4g30jpe036bsuv1g26o89mq4
