Primary Purpose/Position Summary: The primary function of the Junior National Account Manager is responsible for assisting the Senior Account Executive in maintaining and growing client portfolio revenue through responding to client work requests, engaging internal teams and resources, participating in client calls and updating the CPT CRM tool. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Obtain thorough knowledge of CPT services. Initial shadowing of in-house teams to understand the CPT Way Gather information on customer base in assigned vertical Understand competitive landscape to assist in determining market opportunities. Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CPT CRM/database. Set appropriate client expectations regarding implementation and delivery Structure presentations, offerings, which move the customer toward the purchase. Work with operations team throughout the sales cycle to ensure customer expectations are met. Prepare reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts. Follow-up on proposal status to ensure quotes are being driven through internal process to meet delivery timelines. Communicate quickly and effectively with operations, solutions engineering as the advocate for clients Assist in Onboarding new customers Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents Client Engagement activities of CPT Accounts that are not assigned to a portfolio, which include selling CPT services over the phone, handling of work requests, electronic delivery of client proposals, providing year-end QBR reports. Qualifications/Experience : BA/BS degree preferred or 1-3 years of sales or relatable background Experience with CRM software Must be a creative self-starter and team player Exceptional written and verbal communication skills High energy Good time management skills with problem solving aptitude Location: Chicago area Background Check: A criminal background check as well as reference checks will be conducted and may be a condition of hire.
