The ideal candidate will possess strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering proactive, client-focused legal representation.Job Overview:Position: Municipal and School Associate AttorneyLocation: Camp Hill, PAType: Full-timeDuties:Conduct thorough legal research to support senior counsel and clientsAdvise clients on laws governing public bodies such as the Right-to-Know Law, Sunshine Act, and Ethics ActRepresent clients in zoning matters, including variances, special exceptions, and conditional usesAssist clients in code and ordinance drafting and enforcementDraft documents for collective bargaining, arbitration, and public sector labor practicesProvide legal counsel on public bidding, and contracting, and prepare and analyze client agreementsOffer legal assistance in real estate and eminent domain proceedingsAttend school district, municipal, and public board meetings, and hearingsConduct research and provide advice on local tax issuesPrepare materials and appear in court on matters involving public sector clientsAdvise on First Amendment student rights and special education mattersRequirements:License to practice law in PennsylvaniaDegree from an accredited law school2-5 years of experience working with public sector clientsExcellent communication skillsSolid writing and editing skills with a focus on persuasive messagingAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentStrong organizational, time management, and project management skillsCommitment to professionalism, cooperation, and teamworkDrive to provide proactive, client-focused legal servicesExperience with the iManage document management system is a plusExperience filing court documents, electronically preferredAn active Notary license is desiredBenefits offered:Medical, Dental, and Vision plans for individual and familyCompany-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability plansFlexible Spending AccountProfit Sharing 401k PlanPaid Time Off and HolidaysLateral Attorney Referral ProgramTuition AssistanceMarketing Resources and Assistance
