My client is a well established niche business looking to expand following recent investment. The manufacturing facility is based within commutable distance from Preston, Burnley, Manchester & Bolton. They are currently looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on a day shift which runs from Monday-Thursday. The Role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: - Maintain and understand all production lines and how they should run efficiently - Fault finding Electrical and Mechanical on plant to diagnose and repair production machinery - Create and manage a PPM schedule to ensure assets remain as efficient as possible - Ensure PPM program is completed on time to ensure minimal disruption to production - Ensure machinery is running as expected and where necessary perform reliability monitoring to reduce machine breakdowns - Provide technical support to the management team where necessary recommending solutions and preventive measures - Complete reporting and paperwork as required to ensure accurate records are kept - Be an advocate of process improvement and look at ways of improving the plant and processes Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: - Its expected that you will be educated to a minimum to HNC/NVQ/C&G Level - Experience of working as a Maintenance Engineer within a fast paced environment - Electrically qualified to 18th edition - Inspection and Testing 2391 would be an advantage - Excellent verbal and written and communication skills - Experience of implementing.
