The senior project engineer will work alongside both the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on projects learning different aspects of the job and how our project managers maintain such strong client relationships. After learning the ropes of the company and working on a project with the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will be able to be promoted from within and run his own projects. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals looking to elevate their careers and step into broader leadership roles within a dynamic and thriving organization at the forefront of the construction industry.Description Able to review drawings and specifications and able to point out inconsistencies and conflicts Understand building systems (civil, structure, enclosure, interiors, and MEP) to ensure building systems are properly coordinated Ensure that all material and equip are released for fabrication in adequate lead time to accommodate the required job site delivery date Document all as- built changes, maintain project record drawing and specifications Receive and distribute information on clarifications and changes in the work for areas of responsibility Obtain and check subcontractor's printing and assist in assembling change quotations as directed by project manager Set up project close- out procedures and manage the close out process Maintain and issue status logs for all field questions, RFI's, changes, work orders, etc Embrace a collaborative approach with team members Lead company- level technical training to the project engineer work groupProfile Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent years of experience required Minimum of 7 years or more of general contracting experience, preferably with proven performance on large scale projects Has done projects in mixed use, affordable housing, multi-family, or small commercial TIs Must have technology proficiency in programs such as Bluebeam for success in this role Requires work on active commercial construction sites Creative problem solver and excellent communication skillsJob Offer Competitive base salary depending on project experience and skills Gas Card Holidays/ Sick Days 401K Insurance Paid vacationMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
